Questions

Vending for travel hubs: common questions

Can travellers buy a SIM card from a machine?

Not from an unattended machine today. Selling a SIM requires Aadhaar-based KYC and a registered telecom distributor under Department of Telecommunications rules, so feasibility is checked per site with a licensed telecom partner.

How do travellers pay?

Most machines take a UPI QR scan or card tap, so checkout takes moments. The exact payment options are confirmed per machine model.

How do power-bank rentals work?

A traveller pays or leaves a deposit through the app or UPI, takes a charged power bank and returns it to a machine later. Exact terms depend on the model chosen.

What do we need to provide for a machine?

Usually floor space, a regular power point and, for connected machines, mobile network coverage. Some machines also need water. We confirm the needs during the site survey.

Who restocks and services the machine?

That depends on the engagement model you pick: you can run it yourself, or we operate it for you. Service response times are agreed in your service plan and written into your quote.

How do we get started?

Send an enquiry with your location and a rough idea of footfall. We reply with machine options and the model that fits, then arrange a site survey.
