Questions

Vending for hospitals: common questions

Can a machine sell medicines?

Permitted OTC essentials only, alongside hygiene items. Prescription medicines (Schedule H, H1 and X) are never stocked, and each item is checked before it is stocked. Any licensing the hospital or venue needs is confirmed per site.

Is food stocked hygienically?

Food should be stocked in sealed, FSSAI-compliant packaging, with temperature control where the product needs it. Who stocks the machine and holds the licence depends on your model, and stocking routines are agreed per site.

What do we need to provide for a machine?

Usually floor space, a regular power point and, for connected machines, mobile network coverage. Some machines also need water. We confirm the needs during the site survey.

Who restocks and services the machine?

That depends on the engagement model you pick: you can run it yourself, or we operate it for you. Service response times are agreed in your service plan and written into your quote.

How do we get started?

Send an enquiry with your location and a rough idea of footfall. We reply with machine options and the model that fits, then arrange a site survey.
